19 weeks down and 21 to go. I can't believe next week we'll be halfway through this pregnancy! I officially look pregnant, not just awkwardly fat. I also look like I swallowed a basketball (I have a feeling that's just going to increase). I do have to say I love this little bump, and the little man it represents.
We had our anatomy scan this morning. It was the only scan I was nervous for this entire pregnancy, probably because it was the only medical scan we're receiving. I didn't exactly enjoy the ultrasound, because all I wanted to hear is that he was perfect but seeing him is always a joy. His little legs and arms and face are the cutest.
Isn't he adorable? And he is totally perfect. No detected abnormalities which is SUCH a blessing. I can't get over the craziness that is this little human being growing inside me! It's even more surreal considering I feel pretty normal. I still can't eat garlic, I'm still sleepy all the time, I pee constantly, and I have a little bump protruding from my body, but other than those things I feel totally great. SO thankful that the first trimester doesn't last forever. I feel so blessed to be this little baby's mama and can't wait to meet him in June!
