26 weeks, 4 days, and still managing to find non maternity clothes I fit in! I'm pretty proud of this. Today's outfit was actually the product of open all my drawers and try on a bazillion things until something fits. I went through 3 things that didn't fit before rediscovering this shirt from Anthropologie, which I bought like 3 years ago ;)
It was an accidental find and a spur of the moment buy. Today was actually the first time I've ever really worn it. I was browsing pinterest freshman year (in class, whoops) when I saw it pop up, decided I HAD to have it, clicked on it, and then found it on ebay because it wasn't being carried anymore. I bought it immediately and when it came in, it was nothing like I'd expected. It's huge. Kind of like wearing a bag. Or perhaps a curtain. I love the look of it, but the fit is just...no. However, during pregnancy, it totally works!
It's loose and flowy, perfect for warm spring days like today (and I think it'll be awesome postpartum too, because yay for bags right after having a baby!). It doesn't hug, which is nice when it's warm out and it just fits really nicely around my bump. Also it's yellow. How can you not be happy in a loose flowy yellow shirt on a sunny day?
And this blazer (which debuted here and then again here) is still one of my favorites. It's comfortable and perfect for spring because it's not heavy.
I don't usually include anything on accessories in these because I am the worst at accessorizing (seriously) but I just have to brag on this precious ring I ordered! My wedding rings still fit, but they won't forever, so I wanted a ring to fill their space when they're retired for a few months. I came across Melody Joy Designs (etsy website here) a little while back and had been (not so) patiently waiting for her shop to reopen! I LOVE her nest necklaces and rings, and decided it would be the perfect filler ring! A perfect ring to represent this growing little baby in my belly. It came in the mail a few days ago and I am so in love with it. Swoon.
