Dearest David, you're three months old today and I can hardly believe it. These months have flown by and my feelings are all over the place. I miss your sweet newborn self, but oh it's so sweet to see you grow and discover new things. Your most recent discovery, and currently your favorite things, are those teeny little hands of yours. Oh you love them. They're either in your mouth or interlocked right infront of your face as you stare at them, wiggling your itty bitty fingers. You're also a fan of your tongue and it's out in more pictures than not now.
Sleeping is hit or miss and the past week has been SO hard. For awhile there you we're awake every hour and man was that hard. Last night you surprised us and went a 7.5 hour stretch, which had me waking up in a panic and making sure you were breathing (you were). I'm sure it was a one time thing, but that's okay. You nap (mostly) regularly now, though we're still trying to find a rhythm after our trip to Alaska. You get fussy when you're tired which is a new thing, and something we're still getting used to!
You see a chiropractor weekly, to help figure out and fix your neck thing. Nursing on the right side is slowly getting easier, and seeing a chiropractor is helping SO much! You smile constantly, and we can't get enough. Seeing your face light up and a huge grin on your face is the highlight of my day. You love when I sing to you, especially the song A bushel and a peck and your favorite part is me saying "I love you". We try and go on a nightly walk and you love being outside. You're a huge baby and even though we don't know how much you weigh, you're fitting into 6-9 month jammies.
You're the apple of my eye and I absolutely love being your mama.
