9 months!

I'm two weeks late posting this, whoops! Life has been SO busy so I've been waitng until I had the time to upload pictures + text but finally decided today that I have no idea when that'll happen so just text it is for now! Pictures to come!

David, you've been out of me now for longer than you were ever in me and I cried at that realization. I love watching you grow and explore and learn new things, I adore watching your personality come out, I don't want to keep you as a tiny baby because watching you grow up is so fun but there are moments when I wish I could pause and just soak up everything you are right now. You change so fast nowadays, you're constantly learning and one moment you're unable to do something and the next you're doing it like a pro.

You still primarily army crawl but you've been getting up on your knees more often. I know you'll be up on your knees before we know it and your sweet army crawl will be a thing of the past so I'm treasuring it while it's here and not wishing it away. You pull to stand and it started suddenly. One day you couldn't and the next day you could and you're so good at it.

You give kisses and high fives and it is the cutest thing I've ever seen. You get REALLY excited when you give high fives. You recognize people and with people you know you're happy and talkative. When your grandparents walk in the door you squeal with excitement and crawl as fast as you can to them. You're shy with strangers and new situations but warm up once your comfortable. You don't cry when we leave you in the church nursery (even when it's the first time and you don't know anyone).

You eat food! And you love it. You demand it at the table and though we're consistently doing purées you appreciate a good banana every now and then (and quinoa and ground beef). You've still only got two toofers but anytime now I expect another one to pop through! We still have yet to give you a haircut though in all honesty it's probably about that time. You have this perfect little curl by your ears that I never ever want to forget.

There are quite a few changes happening in our lives and you've done so well with all the crazy. I had to go to the ER one night and you and your daddy came with. You were up until we got home at 11:30pm and yet you were a total rockstar. You are amazing in the car and your daddy and I are constantly baffled at what we did so right when it came to you. The truth is, a lot of this is just you. You are amazing and incredible and I am so thankful for you sweet boy.

In 3 months you'll be one! Where did the time go?!
