We spent the long weekend in the Portland area with my parents, something I love doing. A weekend spent away from this little apartment is always enjoyable. On our last trip to Portland a few weeks ago my dad introduced us to this adorable little french cafe. It was a walk down memory lane as we munched on delicious pain au chocolats. Our trip to Paris 2 and a half years ago wasn't all that great (yay for not speaking French and being totally overwhelmed in a foreign country) but the pastries we had while there were amazing and we had yet to find anything that compared.
This place though, I give it two thumbs up. It's seriously incredible and the atmosphere isn't too shabby either. It was one of my "must dos" while we were there and Monday we made the drive downtown and made it happen. This time we decided to also try the food plus the delicious pain au chocolats and trust me, it didn't disappoint. Just looking at these pictures is making me crave it. If you're ever in the Portland area, I highly recommend a stop here!
