A little bit of lipstick (review)

I love a good lipstick. Nothing brightens up a dreary day like a bright lipstick. SO, I was totally thrilled when I opened my first voxbox courtesy of Influenster and saw the Rimmel London Moisture Renew lipstick hanging out in there. Who doesn't love free lipstick? 

I absolutely love the color (as you want Victoria) but unfortunately was disappointed with the lipstick itself. I wear lipstick so I'm not a beginner when it comes to applying, but this was impossible! I had to correct it three times with makeup remover, and even then it just went everywhere! Hours later, it still smears like I had just put it on if I eat or drink, which is super lame. 

On the plus side, my lips aren't as dry as other lipsticks tend to make them, so it definitely is helping moisturize, and the color has stayed vibrant which is important. If you don't mind having to be incredibly careful with the application process, and aren't planning on eating a meal, then this lipstick  would work well. It is a lot cheaper than other lipsticks and I know for many that's really important! 

For me, I'm sticking to my favorites but I absolutely loved the opportunity to try this out!
