Blogging from my phone because motherhood and who has time to sit at a computer and organize all your photos and type out something clever and cute and lovely? Not this mama right here, no way, definitely not. So, I give to you, Christmas Eve+Christmas photo dump of 2014.
We're in Portland with my family which is wonderful. My sister is home from college so we're all together and it's the best. All of my favorite people in the same room. Merry Christmas to me! We spent Christmas Eve day meeting with an attorney and doing our estate planning (so much fun to do on Christmas Eve-let's talk about if you die!) got home just in time for David's nap, and then rushed off to the Christmas Eve service at my parents church (which David rocked the socks off of). Then it was home and food and Jesus cake and bedtime. A lovely Christmas Eve indeed.
We went to bed all giddy for today, David woke up an hour early (apparently someone told him Santa had come) and so our very long very busy Christmas Day began!
^^Matching jammies with my favorite little babe
^^ stocking stuffers! (jerky is daddy's, David liked the wrapper). We weren't totally sure what to get him for stocking stuffers so we went with practical things. Socks, bibs, pacifiers, things like that :)
^^these boys. Way way too cute. I can hardly handle it! So so lucky that these boys are mine.
^^Opening presents! Wrapping paper+bows+tags are way more exciting than gifts. ;)
^^one of my FAVORITE gifts that we bought David. A hooded fox towel from Land of Nod. It's got ears, a tail, paws, and has his name stitched on it. The most perfect thing!
^^one of my favorite gifts that I bought for Drex and David. Matching shirts that perfectly sum up these two.
^^more matching! Love this little boy and obviously matching with your mama is the coolest thing ever. ;)
^^we left my family for a bit and went and had a little second Christmas with my sister in law, her husband and their kiddos. David and their youngest (Maggie) are 7 months apart and it's so fun to see them interact more and more. I can't wait to see the relationship they have as they get older!
^couch snuggles at my aunts house where we had our third Christmas of the day. This little mister skipped his last nap so we left an hour earlier than planned, mister fussy fussy but we love him so.
^^three Christmases tired this baby boy out (and his mommy and daddy)! Christmas is about a thousand times more fun with a little one. I love this sweet boy and he is the greatest gift of all.
Xoxo
