This winter has been hard. I'd be lying if I said the dark, wet, gloomy days weren't getting to me. Maybe its the two kids one who hates the rain, the other who can't yet walk. Maybe it's the puppy who desperately wants to play outside but every time she does, comes back tracking mud all over the house. Maybe it's the postpartum depression. Maybe it's a combination of all of these things. Probably that. Regardless, it's been a hard winter and I'm ready for spring and sunshine and flowers and park dates. So far though spring is taking it's sweet time arriving, so I'm doing my best to will it along by filling our home with plants and all things floral. I figure if we're gonna be stuck inside, inside better be a pretty and happy place to be.
In a perfect world, each room would be clean and filled with greenery in a variety of pots. However if that was the case in our home, the greenery would quickly be brown and we all know rooms don't stay clean with two littles running around. So we're taking it slow with the plants and making an effort to keep the spaces that can stay clean, cleaned. So far I have yet to kill one so I'm calling it a win. Our hanging plant is my favorite and it's been on the brink of death many times but a little water brings it right back. My kinda plant ;)
Happy Tuesday!
